Laying Good Foundations of the Early Brain

Event description

The early brain starts forming connections within the first hour of life and in the first three years, grows faster than at any other time of life, so it is crucial that we use this window of opportunity to promote the healthiest, happiest children we can.

In particular, this session will show you how to understand the essential areas of the brain which process speech and language, and how you can effectively support the development of these areas by providing an enriched auditory environment from an early age.

Language; both understanding others and using our own; is crucial to healthy development and self-mastery and by understanding how we can use our practice to support sensory, social and emotional stimulation, we can promote neural processing, sensory integration, and the generation of healthy biochemicals, to assure a brain that is primed for life and learning.
