The music industry is a diverse, fantastic and fun world to work in but for those who dream of entering it, breaking through can seem like a pretty big challenge. Urban Development’s new and exciting programme is all about identifying your creative genius and then showing you how to make a living out of this in the music industry.

Whether you want to pursue a career as professional musician, sound-engineer, publicist, stylist, or in music management you can explore your options during this 4 week part-time course.

The programme is supported by the European Social Fund and run in conjunction with Bauer Media (whose portfolio includes Kerrang! Mojo, Kiss & absolute Radio, 4music and The Box).

Taking place at Tileyard studios in Kings Cross, the home to a plethora of leading music companies representing artists such as Mark Ronson, Chase & Status and Ella Eyre.

Industry skills will be taught in a practical way, enabling students to make informed decisions about monetising their work. Students will also receive one-to-one mentoring with an industry professional designed to match their skills, identifying the right path for them. This is an exciting and refreshing venture that is certain to launch many new, vibrant, and successful careers into the U.K urban music scene.

In addition to this each participant will receive an exclusive invitation to a specially designed music networking evening/event where they can meet employers in all sectors of the industry.
