Sing City Songwriting Sessions
Event description
Sing City sessions are held every Wednesday evening during term time from 6-8pm at Band on the Wall. Sessions give young musicians an opportunity to come together and develop skills in:
- songwriting
- production
- artistic collaboration
- studio recording
- event promotion
- live performance
Sessions are led by a team of expert musicians and practitioners – Phill Howley, Natalie McCool and James Holt – who all work professionally in the music industry, with guest artists regularly invited to deliver specialist workshops, masterclasses and residencies.
We also host a regular live night, giving participants the chance to showcase their work, produce an event and perform at professional music venue Band on the Wall.
Featuring a regular live night, an event production programme, industry masterclasses and instrumental tuition, Sing City is the perfect way for young musicians to get together to develop music industry skills, knowledge and expertise.

Wednesdays: 17, 24, 31 Jan. 7, 14, 28 Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28* Mar. (No session 21 Feb)
