Sound Connections Early Years Conference 2018

Event description

With the recent powerful publication of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Arts, Health and Wellbeing, Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing, never more have the creative arts been so widely recognised as an impactful contributing factor to societal health and wellbeing.

Join Sound Connections on Wednesday 21 February at Stratford Circus to delve deeper into the extraordinary role that music and the arts can play in positively affecting health and wellbeing of babies, children in early childhood, and parents and carers.

We are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker and researcher on the APPG report, Dr Rebecca Gordon Nesbitt from Kings College London, to kick start our thinking. We will also hear case studies from early years music practitioners, health professionals and funders, all working on the front line and observing transformative interventions. Save the date and watch this space for programme and speaker announcements.
