WEBINAR: The Youth Music Quality Framework and disabled young people

Event description

Drake Music has teamed up with Youth Music to adapt the Youth Music Quality Framework ‘Do, Review, Improve’, for use by music teachers, leaders and practitioners, when working with disabled young people in SEN/D Settings.

The adapted Quality Framework can be seen here.

This one-hour webinar will bring participants up to speed with the Youth Music Quality Framework and to look at how it can be built on by teachers and other music practitioners working with disabled young people.

We are delighted that the session will be co-hosted by Youth Music’s CEO Matt Griffiths and Drake Music’s Music Education Manager Jonathan Westrup.

This will be a highly interactive session that will show you how to put the Quality Framework at the heart of your practice.

Matt Griffiths commented: "Real-time, practical examples during the webinar will stimulate thinking and help to strengthen musically inclusive practice, particularly within music education hubs. An event not to be missed."

The webinar is free to access and open to all:

  • Teachers
  • Music Education Hub staff
  • Music leaders
  • Music practitioners working with disabled children and young people
  • Community music leaders
  • Trainee/aspiring music leaders
  • PGCE students

Please sign up for the webinar and share with others you think could benefit from attending.
