Capturing and Celebrating the Impact

CYMAZ Music is collecting and consolidating evidence of impact so far and welcomes contributions from people who have been working with us and/or witnessed the impact of our work

CYMAZ Music wants to take stock of where we are and with reporting deadlines looming, it's a good opportunity to invite feedback from anyone who has been involved in working with us, witnessed our work or is in anyway connected with us and our work.

We have achieved so much in the last year or so, but perhaps aren't very good at sharing or promoting the work. We are currently delivering music making activity with children and young people almost every day of the week across Cornwall.

We have a CPD and development programme for music leaders which is focussed on filling gaps and meeting needs. We are incredibly lucky to have such a highly skilled and talented group of music leaders, which is ever expanding.

We ran a successful conference in November called Count Me In! which is imforming the development of an Inclusion Strategy for the Cornwall Music Education Hub.

We are delivering a number of inclusion projects for the Cornwall Music Education Hub, including some excellent work in the Acorn AP Academies and Music technology training for SEN workers.

We have launched a vocal programme, Rudling Voices, for young people which spans Cornwall, Plymouth and Bristol as a legacy for a friend and colleague who passed away.

We moved to a lovely new office space in Lostwithiel. We recruited a brilliant Project Administrator, Karen, who has already shown what an asset she is to CYMAZ Music.

This is just a few of the highlights.... we will be reflecting more and sharing more over the coming weeks and months.

If you would like to share any feedback about the work of CYMAZ Music, we would be so pleased to hear from you. Drop us an email, even if it's a one liner!
