Tuning in to Children

'Fabulous - will be including all of these songs in my music sessions!'

'Confirmed our existing good practice and gave some nice new material to refresh'

Just a couple of the comments made at our recent 'Tuning in to Children' resource launch held in Thirsk in North Yorkshire at the start of October. This set of songs have been developed as part of a collaborative project at St Paul's Nursery in York. The Youth Music funded project was developed over a the period of a year with the staff at St Paul's and the Early Years specialist Rebecca Gross.

From the 'Hello Song' to 'I've got a grumpy face' the songs were explored in the session with a variety of enthusiastic practitioners who explored not only the music but also the holistic and inclusive context in which they should be used.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle stop! Have a listen.
