Job Opportunity:  musinc Operations Assistant Salary: £15,941 pro rata Hours: 20 hours per week Contractual Status: Fixed term until 31st March 2018

Middlesbrough Council Cultural Services are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide operational support to musinc – the Teesside Musical Inclusion resource, a Youth Music grant funded project, based at Myplace. 

In this role you will develop and maintain the office monitoring, finance, information and project management systems. You will assist with marketing and communication, updating and sharing information via online forums, including the musinc website, and you will help to set up events. Methodical, organised and conscientious you will need good organisational and communication skills.

You will be accurate, with attention to detail and be good at prioritising a work programme of varied tasks.

You will need to have GCSEs in English and Maths and ideally a qualification in Business Administration or similar. Knowledge of the Teesside area, an interest in music, and working with children and young people in challenging circumstances would be desirable.

We would like if possible for the 20 hours to be worked over 4 – 5 days and we could offer the role as a term time only post, with the exception of the summer holidays, where up to 2 weeks leave would be available due to project commitments.
