As music teachers who often operate either in a solo capacity, providing private music tuition, or as part of small groups of music teachers, often connected to music school or hubs. This article explores why it is important to make connections with other music teachers across the UK and beyond to support continued professional development.

NYMAZ is excited to be launching a new bursary for Early Years Music Network members who wish to undertake the Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators (CME): Early Childhood. NYMAZ will be offering a very limited number of bursaries for candidates starting the course in September 2018 and September 2019 – only four bursaries will be available each year.

The CME: Early Childhood offers a flexible, part-time, distance-learning qualification in early childhood music, run by CREC and MERYC. The CME is a recognised National Qualification validated by Trinity College London.

APPLY NOW, for a chance to perform at Routes Festival 2018, at the Orange Box young people's centre (Halifax), on Sat 23 June. 

We are looking for bands and acoustic acts based in West Yorkshire (with priority given to Calderdale based musicians) to perform a fifteen minute set on the day.
