Youth Music Touring Network.

Hybrid Arts are interested in developing a touring network for young musicians. Based in the West Midlands the project hopes to network together partner organisations with a common aim. To provide performance training and to facilitate exchanges and performance opportunities. The aim is to present youth music to new audiences and to build confidence and skills in young performers by getting them out of their familier territory and quite litterally 'on tour'

Hybrid Arts are interested in developing a touring network for young musicians. Based in the West Midlands the project hopes to network together partner organisations with a common aim. To provide performance training and to facilitate exchanges and performance opportunities. The aim is to present youth music to new audiences and to build confidence and skills in young performers by getting them out of their familier territory and quite litterally 'on tour'

e.g. young bands, singers and MC's from Leamington Spa go and play gig's in Rugby, Nuneaton and Coventry over 2 weekends. Those young people then organise for the young Rugby musicians to perform in Leamington and so on. The activity will follow on from on going music performance training at the partners organisation facilities.

The touring network will grow and develop, not only as a group of partners and young people but also as a broad and multi informed picture of collaboration and best practice.

Hybrid Arts are developing an application across several modules with the hope of kick starting the network. We will actively be seeking partners across the West Midlands to join this network.
