This is our new rap-metal track, Going Off On One! We ran a Youth-Music funded workshop for young people who have learning disabilities on April 19th 2017, and this is the film created from the day. Participants had fun learning the Deftones inspired guitar riffs, playing the drum in military style, rehearsing screamo, discussing what made them angry, working on their own lyrics and flow - and of course as you will see from the video there was lots and lots of dancing!

  • Reflection is increasingly a hot topic amongst music-educators across the country, and it is an essential skill for using Youth Music's Quality Framework - but where does the concept of reflection come from, and how to does it work?

  • Amber is delighted to be working with 'Music in Devon Initiative' - MIDI to deliver this project. The knowledge, skill, expertise and creativity that they bring will help us to develop a really rich, diverse, resident led programme.

  • We are gearing up to the launch of our project by gaining feedback from residents. We want to make sure that we get the content and structure of our programme right and the best place to start is with the participants!

  • How is Community Radio in Bradford helping to broaden young people's musical tastes, develop communication skills and raise aspirations.
