Job description
Essential experience
- Proven experience of fundraising successfully in the voluntary or not-for-profit sectors
- First rate organisation, programme management, time management, information management and planning experience
- Effective and resourceful management of budgets, including negotiation with suppliers and service providers
- Experience of working in the arts and/or education sector
Key skills
- Exceptional attention to detail: crucial for successful fundraising
- Strong facility to follow through on the delivery of strategic and day-to-day tasks
- The ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively and communicate those ideas clearly and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: an ability to relate confidently and sensitively to a wide range of people including donors, funders, partners, volunteers, parents/carers, and children and young people.
- Computer literate in all major packages (experience of SRM systems, ideally Salesforce, would be an advantage)
