Performing Arts Technician - Music (Harrogate Grammar School)

Job description

An immediate start is available for this superb role to provide technical, production and creative support to our outstanding Students and Performing Arts Faculty, focussing specifically on music. Enthusiastic and hardworking - ideally with experience of stage management, live sound recording and a relevant Music Technology qualification - you will be part of a committed faculty team preparing, maintaining and running equipment for school performances, concerts and external events. You will be designing sound, lighting and sets - in support of productions - and this is a great opportunity to utilise your creative skills and enable our students to deliver something truly special!

The post holder must be flexible in terms of work pattern – covering evening and weekend preparation and production events as necessary, and hence our role offers you genuine work life balance opportunities.

This would be an ideal role if you are considering commencing a PGCE, providing ideal training within a music and performing arts education environment.
