Job description

Initially for 2 Terms, this is a great opportunity for you to really develop your career; you will be part of our outstanding Teaching School with an extensive variety of opportunities for staff development through the Red Kite Learning Trust.

You will join an innovative and committed Performing Arts Faculty benefitting from excellent facilities and a very able staff team. Most importantly, you will work with fantastic young people who are committed to their learning and proud to be part of Harrogate Grammar School.

Harrogate Grammar School is an ambitious, high achieving, 11-18 mixed comprehensive Academy with the full ability range of students. The school achieves excellent results, with 80% of students gaining 5+ A*-C grades (including English & Maths) in 2016, and 88% of all grades at A*-C, making it one of the highest achieving comprehensive schools in the country.

We are very proud of our reputation for academic excellence but also for the superb pastoral care our students receive and the support we provide for the less academically able.
