Vacancy Reference Number 201703 Hours Saturday mornings: approximately 1.5 hours* Location West Leeds Music Centre Remuneration YMES Music Teacher Pay Scale (£18 - £25 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay)
YMES is a not-for-profit music service based in Leeds providing music tuition in schools, at Saturday morning music centres, and via a home tuition scheme.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding violin teacher to join the dedicated team of colleagues at West Leeds Music Centre. You will be passionate about inspiring students of all ages and backgrounds through excellent teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will teach an agreed timetable of small group and/or 1-to-1 lessons. We anticipate there being approximately 1.5 hours of violin teaching available from September 2017, dependent on student numbers.
The ability to teach additional instrument(s) and/or evidence ensemble leadership skills would be looked on favourably. There is the potential for this to lead to further work for the right candidate.
