Young Persons' Workshop Assistant

Job description

Cardboard Citizens is seeking to recruit a Workshop Assistant to support ACT NOW, as part of our dynamic, busy and fun team.

ACT NOW is our young people's programme aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds who are not in education or training (NEET) or who have experiences of homelessness. Started in 2009, the ACT NOW Programme is now a central part of our activities, offering a rolling programme of performance arts workshops leading to opportunities to engage in higher profile productions.

We welcome and encourage applications from people from all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from people with experiences of homelessness. We also encourage applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates.

Key responsibilities

To support the successful delivery of Cardboard Citizens' ACT NOW programme. To provide pastoral support to participants, ensuring ongoing engagement and progression. To provide administrative support to the Programme Team and wider organisation.
