A festive funk session!

The XLR students were in a festive mood on Tuesday, and decided to start getting involved in Christmas song ideas!

The young musicians who are part of the weekly XLR sessions on Tuesdays, and decided to start getting involved in Christmas song ideas! Well, we say all of them, it was the team working with Sophie and Joss. 

Meanwhile, Bim's group finished off the lovely, slow and soulful piece that Liwanu and the rest of the group have been developing over the last few weeks.

In the music studio, Phoebe's group finished off a final structure of a folk inspired guitar track. 

If that wasn't enough, Ella prepared a beautiful performance at last night's young people's Christmas Party. Sher performed 2 acoustic covers from Taylor Swift. We will have some footage of her performance up in the new year.

Tuesday's session was the last of the year. We kick off again on 13th January, so, all that's left to say is have an amazing musical Christmas and a jamming new year!
