AIMS:
To advocate for increased resources and support for participatory music and performing arts
To work towards improved access to music making and performing arts
To consolidate and further develop a network of partnerships
To focus on those who have the least opportunity to make music and access performing arts
To leave an appropriate legacy after project is complete
To provide practical music making and performing arts experiences for children and their families within Gosberton Risegate, Spalding and surrounding areas
To try to increase opportunities for children, particularly in rural areas with limited transported and resources

OBJECTIVES
To employ musicians and arts practitioners of the highest quality and training
To share the output of projects with audiences
To offer opportunities for professional development and training for musicians and other performing artists
To ensure that all SCMC work demonstrates high quality, accessibility and diversity, achieved through monitoring and evaluation

THE MEANS BY WHICH THE OBJECTIVES ARE TO BE ACHIEVED INCLUDE
Providing regular workshops led by professional experienced practitioners
Allowing children to participate in a practical, creative way
Support and advice for parents and carers who want to continue to encourage similar activities at home
Training and development of local musicians and artists
Working in partnerships with local arts councils and other arts organisations
