DJ School UK teaches DJ and Music Production skills to anyone of any age and ability.

We are a non-profit social enterprise based in Leeds.

We believe:

1) DJs are musicians

2) The Turntable is a musical instrument

3) Learning to DJ helps people develop self-confidence, communication, team work and musical skills.

At Leeds College of Music we provide a stimulating and collaborative environment in which students can become creative, confident and versatile practitioners in their chosen fields. Our relationships with Leeds City College and the University of Bradford help us provide opportunities for the local, national and international communities to engage with music and music-making of the highest standards.

YMES is a not-for-profit organisation, based in Leeds, offering a wide range of music education services to schools and in the community. Specialist teaching (in small and large groups) is available for most instruments, along with ensemble direction and accompaniment, with a focus on flexibility, quality and affordability. Our music centres provide out-of-school learning opportunities, and are complemented by a series of one-day workshops and holiday courses. Our not-for-profit status is regulated by the Government's CIC Regulator.

Jazz North is a consortium of experienced delivery organisations and individuals who will build a new northern jazz delivery model, based on collective partnerships. The new agency will support the existing jazz sector across the North and will lead the development of both artform and audiences across the three regions North West, Yorkshire and North East.

Interplay's mission is to enable young people who experience economic, social and sensory barriers, to realise their potential by creating and experiencing the arts.

Arts Live is a brand new Community Arts provision, a partnership between Garforth Academy, Artforms Leeds (Leeds City Council) and Brigshaw High School. We have one simple aim, and that is to provide access to high quality arts provision to as many people as possible.

Arts Live is currently based at Garforth Academy. The classes are open to anyone wishing to take part from across Leeds, Wakefield and the surrounding areas, although some of the groups may have entry criteria based on minimum or maximum ages or levels of competency.
