We are City of London Sinfonia (CLS), the orchestral home to over 40 outstanding professional musicians, who come together in the shared belief that music has the power to transform people across all areas of society. Every year, we spend over 170 days in the community and make music with over 15,000 people.

Battersea Arts Centre...

Greenwich & Lewisham Young People’s Theatre (GLYPT) has been creating high-quality art for and with young people for over 40 years!

We use the power of the arts to enrich the lives of young people, 2-25, and audiences and seek to enable, empower and challenge participants through delivering work of artistic excellence.

School Ground Sounds works with secondary schools and young people in lower income areas of London to provide additional music opportunities and to enhance their music education. Our programme includes recording studio experience, 1-1 mentoring with industry professionals, a 6 week industry crash course (The Grit School), songwriting competitions, live performance opportunities and the showcasing of talent online.

Mini Mozart is a fun and interactive music class for toddlers and babies.

Camden Music Service provides instrumental and singing tuition in the borough’s 56 schools reaching over 5,500 young musicians weekly including 2,500 in our First Access scheme.

Angel Shed’s vision is that every child, regardless of ability or background be given the opportunity to participate in the performing arts. As a fully inclusive organisation, all our workshops have a 1:2 ratio of practitioner to participant, enabling every child and young person, whatever their ability, to be fully supported to achieve their very best.

Finding Rhythms' aim is to empower and equip prisoners with skills that reduce their likelihood of reoffending. We do this through courses of music-based work experience, which result in albums of broadcast-quality new music by prisoners, and a BTEC certificate in employability skills.

Our intensive projects are led by professional touring musicians and result in an album of original compositions, authored and performed by prisoners. Our work has attracted the attention of The Guardian and The Times, and has played on Radio 6 and BBC World Service.

To date we have worked with over 180 young and adult prisoners in 15 UK prisons.

We produce music to a professional standard and, crucially, demonstrate that the skills used in process are transferable to both work and life outside of the creative context.
