Medical Notes: Music at the Heart of Life is an ongoing project bringing live, interactive music onto the wards at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, currently funded by Youth Music and supported by research at the University of Salford. Run by LIME Music for Health, a team of specially trained musicians work sensitively at the bedside with children, young people, families and staff, giving everyone a chance to be part of the music. We believe that music is at the heart of life and helps us to communicate creatively through more than just words.

Brighter Sound is a producer of creative music projects and events based in Manchester. We pioneer new ways to explore music making, with an interest in the spaces that exist between what is already on offer.

Our diverse and invigorating programme connects a wide range of people through music and creativity. Whether it’s packing out a library to see a signed band compose live, songwriting in a science lab or experimenting in an orchestra, every one of our projects pushes creative limits and strives to give new meaning to learning through music.

Community Arts North West is a Manchester-based arts development organisation led by artists and creative producers. We work with diverse communities and artists to create access to cultural production for people that are excluded from or on the fringes of the mainstream.

We facilitate cultural expression and visibility for the many complex and diverse communities that make up Greater Manchester, working across the performing, visual and media arts.

Billy & Andy's Music School provide accessible music workshops for young people with disabilities, aimed at creating a passion for making music that extends into adulthood and beyond.

Studio-Z is a newly built recording studio situated at the heart of the vibrant Z-Arts community complex in Hulme, Manchester. There’s always loads of visual art installations, theatre productions, dance performances and workshops happening around the building. All of this infectious enthusiasm and activity encourages a creative and relaxed environment which helps artists to deliver a memorable performance for their record.

The Bridgewater Hall is Manchester's international concert venue, built to give the best possible space for music. The Hall hosts over 250 performances a year including classical music, rock, pop, jazz, world music and much more.

The Hall is home to three resident orchestras: the Hallé, the BBC Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata. The Hall also programmes its own classical music season, the International Concert Series. The Hall works with a range of promoters and charity hirers on other programming.
