Organisations

MIDI is a non-profit-making organisation which has been founded by a group of local musicians and music industry professionals. We aim to develop emerging talent, increase opportunities for musicians and audiences, and generate business for the music industry in Devon.

Riverbank Studios, Chippenham.

Amber is an independent charity that helps homeless and unemployed young people in crisis  to turn their lives around. We do this by offering a temporary, safe place to live with 30 other young people at one of our three residential training centres. There – in a calm and nurturing environment – we provide a mix of support, structure, new experiences and training that builds their motivation, self-discipline and skill set. We inspire them to take responsibility for their lives and move on to education or employment and safe, sustainable accommodation. The arts form an important part of our programme and thanks to the support of Youth Music we are able to develop a music programme that will give our residents at Ashley Court the opportunity to engage in the exploration and creation of music. Our residents have complex issues and this programme will support them with their self-expression, emotional and social development and their personal resilience.

We are a rural youth club in a small market town, Tetbury, in Gloucestershire. We are an independent organisation supported mainly by local grant giving bodies, we live in a portacabin housed on the playing field, awaiting a permanent home in the village hall. Its been 5 years of waiting with properly a few more to go - therefore you know already that we are patient. We are also resilient and creative, we try to think how to make the best of our situation, how to reach out to the young people in the area to support and encourage them to develop into successful, healthy, kind young people.
