Currently we are funding music projects in and around the Black Country, mainly in Early Years settings.

Middleport Matters is a community action group that operates for the benefit of those who live and work in the area.  Our vision is to make Middleport a safe and welcoming place to live, through strong community cohesion.

Sense is a national charity that supports a wide range of disabled people with complex communication needs to be understood, connected and valued. Our expertise and our broad range of flexible and personalized services enable individuals to lead connected and fulfilled lives. Our work benefits people of all ages, as well as their families and support staff. Music Is A Vibration creates opportunities for young people with sensory impairments and complex communication needs to compose their own sensory musical compositions. The programme unleashes their musical potential as they gain an insight into musical structuring and composition through immersive musical performances.

At The SongLab, we have no restrictions on those who wish to make music and so we have a number of strategic partners that we work with to ensure funding is in place for music making opportunities for young people aged 13-19. The SongLab is run by Jonny Amos and Meldra Guza  who both have a wealth of knowledge in both music industry and community music sectors. We are proud to link music education with music industry, allowing the young people to see ahead and plan their future careers, develop their talent, gain more confidence and define their aspirations.

Aspire in Arts provides young people with an opportunity to develop their skills, motivation, confidence and life chances to flourish in achieving their aspirations in the Midlands.

Our dedictaed team of qualified youth workers and arts practitioners seek to increase the development and education of young people through the arts in any form that suits an individual such as a recognised curriculum or structured activities using dance, drama, creative writing, singing and various other art forms.

The project "Beats, Bars and Banter" will be delivering weekly music making workshops for young people aged 11-25 at Hill Street Youth Centre, Rugby every Thursday from 4-6pm. Workshops will include singing, song writing, music production, intrumentation, MCing, performances and visits to arts venues. Young people who take part will also be able to work towards acheiving an Arts Award.

The City Music Service aims to deliver a quality music education that enhances the lives of children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent.

We promote a culture of inclusivity, team working and positive thinking.
