Crossing Cultures - Reedley Primary School

First song!

Today we started writing our first song.

We all had ideas so we all wrote little bits and one of our young people had a great little hook 'World of wonder, so come on, come on'. Everybody loved the idea so we started to develop on that. Lee and I thought it was a great subject matter. Something really positive to sing about. Not all the ideas were all that happy (there's nothing wrong with that but we still thought it would be better to start on something happy and smiley instead of something sad!)

Some of them expressed an interest in playing an instrument as well as singing. So next week Lee and I will bring in some instruments.
