DJ Workshop at Salmon Youth Centre

As we are working towards increasing the confidence of young people through engaging them in music projects, we have been able to work with young people to develop their creativity as well.

Over the last few months, we have been working with young people in our DJ workshops. We ran a few weeks of taster sessions to get young people involved in learning how to scratch disks and mix audio tracks and we were able to work with those who wanted to take it further.
