Music Everywhere

Our project, funded through Youth Music, has been even more successful than we hoped and is continuing to engage many more young people in music who would not have otherwise had this opportunity.

Since receiving backing from Youth Music in September we've been able to do some amazing things, bringing music to many young people who would not have otherwise paricipated in music making.  We are running drumming workshops at a specialist deaf school, delivering music workshops for a specialist school catering for young people with a wide range of disabilities and difficulties and more recently we are working with children with behavioural difficulties and at risk of exclusion from high school, teaching them songwriting and music production.  We've put on guitar and drumming workshops in our studios as after school activiites and 'get your band together' workshops getting groups of young people together who would not have otherwise had this unique opportunity.  We have provided opportunities for a some young people to do Rockschool Diplomas at Level 3.  The project is flexible in what we can offer to young people to cater for their different individual needs and has enabled us to engage a really diverse range of young people.
