Practice Sharing Experience with Nature Beats

The Housing team from Orbit Heart of England, one of the main project partners of Nature Beats, came out for a practice sharing day that also acted as a team building activity for the staff.

The staff from the Housing team from Orbit Heart of England visited the Nature Beats site and participated in a practice sharing day. The outdoor day was based in the beautiful woodlands of Rough Close (Scout Camp Site) in Coventry. The team had a first hand expereince of what the young people experience in the project right from the offset. They took part in reflection time, fire making challenges, music workshop in the woods and listened to music created by the young people from the project. As a result of the day, a better understanding of the benefits of the project was gained by the satff and a referral route has been set up for Orbit tenants. "I have found today so valuable. I have learnt lots, enjoyed the team building elemnets, but most of all enjoyed the quiet time and opporunity for reflection. Useful to experience what the young people do - will make it easier to explain what is on offer and encourage others to benefit from this awesome programme." - Natalie Robertson
