Trainee Music Leader Resource

  Youth Music are supporting the training of 10 new music leaders across Warrington, Halton and Cheshire West as part of the 'Plugged In' music development project.     

The group of trainees have helped to create this training resource for other new music leaders as an introduction to teaching and learning techniques.

The comic book was created using 'Comic Life 3' with designs by the multi-talented,  and new music leader, Azaria Wright. 

There are 8 issues covering:

1. Aims and Learning Outcomes

2. Recapping and looking ahead

3. Lesson Content and Activity

4. Use of Questioning

5. Assessment

6. Feedback and Progression

7. Challenging Behaviour

8. The Youth Music Quality Framework Assessment 

The series features the experiences of Mr.Point and his unfortunate students. Please feel free to make use of them if you wish.
