The Amber Music Project aims to create a music facility and programme at Ashley Court - a supported housing scheme for vulnerable young people in Devon. The project will give residents the opportunity to engage in the exploration and creation of music, as well as plenty of opportunities for self-expression and confidence building.

The programme will be run by local freelance musicians from Music in Devon Initiative CIC (MIDI), who will deliver a series of engagement sessions, workshops,1-2-1 lessons, and will pull together: a band, a rapping group, a DJing group, and a music production group. Music In Devon Initiative (MIDI) is a community interest company whose primary objective is to help musicians fulfil their potential, and to provide accessible platforms for artistic expression. The organisation is also a representative voice for music practitioners in Devon.

Ashley Court residents have complex issues and this programme will support them with their self-expression, emotional and social development and their personal resilience.
