Cardboard Citizens and Lyrix Organix present Sound Minds

Sound Minds: A concept album and theatrical project exploring young peoples's stories through their music. Brought to life through rap, spoken word, music and theatre.

This June, Cardboard Citizens and Lyrix Organix are joining forces to deliver Sound Minds, as part of Islington Word Festival 2017.

This 10 day intensive project, will see a group of young people explore their own stories and experiences through music, rap, spoken word, poetry and theatre to write, record and perform their own concept album.  Participants will have the opportunity to perform at Platform, Islington and record at Roundhouse Studios as well as participate in master classes, learn new skills, meet new people and gain an Arts Award or PEARL qualification.
