A dynamic new vocal ensemble for young people from Cornwall, Plymouth and Bristol. Tutored by top class vocal leaders, with exciting new repertoire, Rudling Voices will perform across the South West. This is a legacy for Gilly Rudling, who cared deeply and helped many young people access music making opportunities.
Young Carers from Wiltshire will create their own music which will be showcased at the major festivals and venues in the county. All the workshops and performances are being facilitated by musicians from Bath Philharmonia. The project also involves music leader trainees from Bath Spa University and Wiltshire College.
These projects will focus on the musical dialogues between hard to reach young children and their families and young people who are either in the prison system or at high risk of entering. The core intention of this project is to allow the whole person to be seen and understood.
To use live harp music and gently guided humming and singing to help mothers in Gloucester Hospital's Special Care Baby Unit bond with their premature babies. Around a thousand mothers will receive a CD of harp music developed in the SCBU to help them bond with their new-born babies.
Core Sessions in listening, discussion, analysis ,practical music making and instruction in composing techniques and notation techniques. Commissioned composing activities, visits to concerts and recording studies and day long masterclasses.
