Music Leader (Legacy) start-up training, Bristol Friday 11th May

I attended this training / information session at the Colston Hall last Friday, delivered by Jacqui Haigh (Music Leader) and Siggy Patchitt (Remix). It was a brilliant opportunity to meet and hear other like-minded musicians talk about finding ways to bring their skills and knowledge to young people in meaningful ways. It really served to re-ignite the spark in me, as well, for getting the ball rolling on my own plans in this regard. I really recommend folks go to these things, if only to gain a new contact or deepen your resolve. So nice, also, to be reminded that Knowledge = Currency. It should be shared to the benefit of all - not hidden away so no-one else can see it in the vain hope that this will give the individual concerned an advantage. The reality is that that person loses out in the end.

So, in that spirit, here i am! If I can find a reasonably cost-effective way of doing it, I'll happily volunteer my services to any organisations out there who think I have some skills they could use. Please read my profile to get an idea of who I am, what I care about, what I can do. Then get in touch.

I promise to give everything due consideration and not to say I can do something I really know I can't. If you're unsure of anything, just ask. For the record - I have enhanced CRB clearance.

I will return the favour one day. We're all in this together and if we all work in partnership we can achieve some great things, probably more than if we just go about things on our own.
