One Little Frown From Us

A line from a relatively unknown song delivers a simple, yet effective reminder ...

George Borowski is a songwriter, and a dear friend as it happens, who has always been a great inspiration to me. Not only does he write and perform the most incredible songs, he has a message that is consistent in virtually all his live performances, a message that promotes the welfare of children.

It's probably some 25 years since one particular line of George's struck a chord with me, and it has been with me ever since:

"One little frown from us, shatters peoples' lives"

Dramatic to the unitiated I would suppose, but for me it's the pivotal line of a righteous anthem, a constant reminder of the value of good practice whilst working as a music leader, a dig in my ribs every time I might suggest to a young person that their creative output isn't up to the mark.

By all means check out George at: www.facebook.com/georgieborowski and please do signpost me to songs that inspire your work :-)
