'Creating' space available for free - Goole Junction

Junction is able to offer emerging and established artists the space to create. Our workshop room will be offered free of charge to an artist/company in order to further develop their work. Junction would like to share this process with its community both during the process and at the end, eg by a sharing of work or discussion of discovery.

The timetable for this is to be agreed but artists offering the most engagement time with the public will be preferred.

Junction will offer 2 weeks' use of the workshop room from Monday 22 July – Saturday 3 August, free of charge.  The sharing/discussion should take place on Saturday 3 August.  There are several community events happening on that day, including a community beach day for families and the town's annual horticultural show.

This is a great opportunity to use Junction, work with Junction’s supportive team and use a creative space to develop work.

We are interested in hearing from individual artists and companies who work in any art form.

Please email Nicola Dixon nicola.gtc@btconnect.com with your contact details and a description of your proposed project by Friday 24 May.

Or for more information contact Nicola Dixon or Charlie Studdy on 01405 763652

Please note that Creating Space is to support local and regional artists in developing their work.  Proposals for other uses will not be considered.
