A Sing Up NCB  singing project for looked after children characterised by strong investment in partnership working and a flexible approach to delivery including work with individuals and small groups in their foster homes.

Flexible working with individuals and small groups

Working with 158 children, 60% more than once.

Embedding and sustainability activities

Work is sustained through

  • Continued partnership with Kent County Council
  • Ongoing partnership working with two more ISP (not-for-profit fostering agency) centres
  • Research project with National Children’s Bureau and Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) on music and resilience in looked after children
