Objectives

To set up and deliver singing with foster children, while supporting foster carers in using singing at home and gaining an accreditation.

To set up and deliver multi sensory singing sessions within a Residential Home specifically for children with special needs

 

Foster carer training

3 halfday sessions: 11 attend

Main singing programme

Carnival in a day (half day session)

Weekly after-school sessions

5x weekly sessions at Curve Theatre after school

Final performance

Performance in front of 500 at Fostering Service’s annual Winter Wonderland event. 

Young singing leaders

Musician in residence at residential home.

YSLs deliver session to neighbouring primary school.

Residential home for LAC with complex needs

Programme of activities leading towards the ‘Singing Care Home’
