Originally from Derry Northern Ireland. Spent many years playing in a Gypsy band (Balkan Alien Sound) that explored that complex time signatures of Romania, Macedonia and beyond as well as straight up energetic Klezmer music. . Was lucky enough to play many festivals and work with some amazing musicians. Worked with a lot of teenagers to help combat sectarianism through music. Also enjoyed lots of function work and playing jazz/funk. Currently into free improvisation and playing obscure soul tunes with my current band in Brighton. Currently working with Carousel in Brighton as well as some other projects. Interested in the therapeutic and social benefits of music.
