I've worked in Northaptonshire for a number of years and supporting young people to develop their own projects has led me to music. Although I played the violin when I was 11 I am not musical (at the moment!) but I have a passion for young people being able to enjoy their creativeity and self-expression. 

On a career level I've worked for local governament, with voluntary agencies and with universities. Years of work and the reward of working with young people that can be disadvantaged has taught me so much and shown me what I care about. Music has been the vehicle that levels the playing field when access to professional support and workshops are available.
