I have been working as a private and visiting piano teacher for the last 8 years, based in the South East. I enjoy working with young people and encouraging them to explore different styles of music and helping them to reach their goals.

I have recently relocated to West Cumbria and therefore starting to build up a new teaching practise. A few years ago, I started looking into the Kodály approach to music education through singing which I have found very useful to apply alongside piano lessons. My aim is to work with pre-school children within the EYFS framework in a nursery or similar setting alongside my established work as a piano teacher.

I am committed to continuing professional development for all areas of work I am involved in.

Qualifications: BA(Hons), ATCL (Piano Performance), ATCL (Teaching), CertPPTC BKA Springboard HE1 - Early Childhood Music: Kodály Concept of Music Education, Accredited by Roehampton University.
