A police chase through two East Perth apartment blocks has lingerie manufacturer ended in two men being arrested, the second clad just in his underwear. 

About 12.20am on Wednesday police were wholesale bikinis called to an Adelaide Terrace complex by reports of two men having broken into its car park, police spokesman Samuel Dinnison said. 

Despite warnings from the police underwear manufacturer dog handler who found them in a stairwell they ran, Mr Dinnison said, and the handler deployed police dog Santos. 

The Wholesale Babydoll Lingerie dog caught one man by the hip and he was arrested. 

Another unit arrived and caught up with the second Wholesale Plus Size Lingerie man in another nearby apartment block in his underwear, having shed his clothes throughout the complex.

The first man, a 30-year-old from East Perth, was charged with breaching bail, trespassing, burglary and stealing. 

He was refused bail and will appear at Perth Magistrates on Wednesday.

The second man, a 29-year-old from Kingsley, remains in custody and inquiries are continuing.
