About
After a successful career in secondary education, Susan joined Music Unlimited in 1996. Since then she has worked in special schools throughout the North West delivering workshops, specialised projects and curriculum support to children and young adults aged 2-19.
As a trainer she has worked for music services, Sing Up Merseyside, mainstream schools and special schools promoting inclusive practice in music making.
In 2012 she led the launch of Can Do Music, Can Do Music is an intervention programme for children who need support in their communication and behavioural development. It uses singing and song inspired activity to develop, speech and language, listening, waiting and turn taking and interaction skills. . The CAN DO course is now running in several venues throughout the North West.
