About

After a very successful career in the music industry I set up All Star Entertainment in 2010 because I knew that the skills and experience I had gained working in the creative sector - from creating and producing music to promoting shows and events and being an entrepreneur were all skills that could be taught to young people and the wider community in exciting, hands-on accessible ways. I felt that many who had not maybe succeeded academically could, with the right kind of tuition, mentoring, support and guidance become excited and engaged or re-engaged in learning and achieving. And that’s how All Star Entertainment came into being. Now, 6 years on All Star Entertainment successfully run a wide range of music industry and creative projects and programmes to young people and adults across Bradford and West Yorkshire, offering skills, having a positive impact in communities and changing lives for the better. We employ local people who have come through some of our programmes to deliver in schools, youth settings, on housing estates and community spaces. So far we have reached over 3000 people directly and over 15000 people indirectly and delivered hundreds of high quality training and mentoring programmes. We have supported 35 individuals to create their own business start ups. Our plan is to continue to drive up the excellence of our music-making and creative and digital delivery as part of helping us to grow our organisation and shape our vision for the next 5 years to ensure that we continue to build on our fantastic start-up period. We know we face a range of challenges and have the ambition to meet them so we can succeed and excel in delivering the best quality services and programmes that it is possible to do. We'll share our vision, key goals and our next steps with partners, stakeholders and the wider creative, education, employment and training sectors and beyond.
