In light of recommendations for the NPME to include the 0-5 age phase, Take Art and Bristol Plays Music are hosting an essential and exciting day of debate and discussion to help all Music Services and Music Education Hubs prepare for the introduction of Early Years Music provision.
10.30AM - 5PM: THE DAY WILL INCLUDE
Discussion around current creative approaches from Music Services / Music Education Hubs who are already working with their EYs Local Authority to embed a sustainable programme of Early Childhood Music Education work.
Exploring partnerships with networks and organisations.
A chance to get to grips with how diverse and complex the early childhood [music] sector is and how this differs from schools provision.
Further opportunities to increase your knowledge of Early Years music practice so that you are able to judge the quality of early childhood musical learning and teaching to make informed decisions.
