Junior Jam: Wild West

Event description

Junior Jam gives children the chance to develop and build music skills in a fun, friendly and accessible way. Sessions last two hours and take place on the first Saturday morning of each month, with musical games and activities, including time to experiment, play with instruments and socialise.

In October we move to the Wild West with stonking hoedowns to get your feet a-tappin’. Learn how to get your fingers around the ukulele and play along to ferocious fiddling. You might even find yourselves caught up in a bit of line dancing!

Junior Jam is led by Project Jam Sandwich, a world-folk-fusion quintet of award-winning musicians known for concocting captivating, exhilarating improvisations, infectious rhythms and beautiful melodies from around the globe.

All instruments are provided (ukuleles available for use in sessions only – we can offer advice on where to go and what to buy).
