Noise Solution awarded 50k to revolutionise an already comprehensive impact measurement system

Fifty thousand pounds has been awarded to Noise Solution to significantly enhance and evolve its impact capture analysis and use of digital storytelling, placing the organisation at the forefront of impact capture in our sector, UK and indeed worldwide.

The Social Investment Business have awarded the money. It will enable two years of Masters research at Cambridge University (focussing on digital storytelling, underpinnings of well-being and musickings' role) to inform, amongst many other things, the development of a suit of analytical tools enabling quantitive measurement of qualitative evidence such as audio content within the video's captured in Noise Solution digital stories. The new system will also provide a fascinating 360 digital tool capturing participants journey's whilst providing insight of involvement from their family and professional workers. When triangulated within the system with statistical analysis of nationally benchmarked Well-being tools and descriptive statistics such as attendance and completion rates we will have an extremely powerful tool with which to analyse reasons for success and failure whilst informing funders of progress individually and within age, gender and referral route cohorts. This will be a massive evolutionary leap of the work we already do, taking our existing practice, which you can see here in this video and taking it to a new level of sophistication.

Here is a short video about looking at current analysis, giving a picture of the sort of data that we are already collecting in preparation
