SYMPHONIZE 2019

This Saturday is the shocse performance of Symphonize!

Led by Jason Rowland, young people from Babington Academy, The Winstanley School and Ellesmere College will work with Philharmonia musicians and Soft Touch reggae, dub, hip-hop and spoken-word artists in a week-long intensive creative project to create original music through training in performance, music technology, recording, production and composition. A small group of participants will work alongside a VJ artist and documentary film producer to create a synchronized visual performance, learning how to manipulate visual content inspired by the work of the musicians and the themes for the project.

Symphonize aims to equip young people with new skills, increased confidence and social connection, broader horizons and motivation. You can find out more about more and watch a film about last season’s Symphonize on our website here.
