Telling our stories: social return on investment & results based accountability
Over on the Facebook page recently, there was an interesting exchange between Jacqui Haigh and Lyndall Rosewarne about 'telling our stories' and 'social return on investment'. Here are some further useful links and information ...
Jacqui Haigh posted this: Telling our stories, measuring our effectiveness - Guardian Voluntary Sector blog
And Lyndwall Rosewarn commented this: Thanks Jacqui. This is really really important stuff when we are concerned with getting inclusive music-making into commissioned services because SROI is an accepted currency within commissioning circles and used well it can help us make our case. Can we have a session on this at the next national gathering? Children England would be happy to find someone who can talk about this and help us to think about monetising the benefits we see from musical inclusion.
