Artist in residence

Job description

We are looking for established music educators based in either London, Hasting, Portsmouth and Birmingham. Who bring a high level of artistry and well-developed educational practice and pedagogy to their work.

We want to hear form musicians from all areas of the industry.  It is essential that artists can act as role models to young musicians to foster: aspiration, commitment, motivation, enjoyment of singing or playing, and a life-long love of music.

We are looking to recruit for both our pool of Artists in Residence and for the following roles in these specific areas to start in September 2017.

Hastings: Djembe, Ukulele and Samba

London: Ukulele

The deadline for application is 9am Friday 16th June.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a group workshop.

Artist considered for roles starting in September will be invited to a follow up interview.

Workshops and follow up interviews will take place between the week commencing 26th June -7th July 2017.
