Are you looking to employ young people in your workplace? Do you work with 18-25 year olds in your organisation and want to know how best to support them? Harness the potential of young people at the start of their careers and explore how you can best to assist them to make a difference within your organisation.
This 2 hour course explores the practical steps that you can take to support young people as part of your workforce.
We will consider ways to introduce young people into the workplace, induction processes and approaches to developing their skills.
Our experienced trainer will provide you with information on safeguarding considerations and how you can promote the mental wellbeing of the young people in your organisation.
Throughout the session you will be introduced to coaching tools and approaches that can be used to line manage and mentor young people with a focus on developing clear communication and positive behaviours.

Trainer:
Lesley Wood is a freelance creative and educational professional with more than 20 years’ in-depth experience of working across the creative, heritage, education and cultural sectors. She works with organisations of all sizes and across all sectors measuring impact & providing support on strategic development.
All of our training courses are delivered using Zoom.
Our courses are interactive with a combination of polls, break out rooms and open discussions. We also use several platforms to provide resources and tools to support the training session. You will have the opportunity to reflect on your learning and ask questions in order to gain the most out of the session.
