The lead applicant will be sent a notification email. This includes feedback on your application and the next steps if you’re offered funding.
You’ll be notified of the outcome of your application by email. This will be sent to the lead applicant so it’s important that the contact details provided in the application are correct.
If you are a Fund A applicant, you will be notified of the outcome of your application around three months after the original deadline. This is normally by 6pm on a Friday.
If you are a Fund B applicant, you will find out whether you have been invited to stage two of the application process within three months of the application deadline. You will hear whether you have been awarded a grant within six months of the initial application deadline. This is normally by 6pm on a Friday.
Successful applicants will receive an email containing Youth Music’s grant offer. Youth Music is also likely to make a number of recommendations at this stage, which may involve returning the application form to applicants to make any changes, before issuing a funding agreement. Before the first payment can be released, applicants are expected to satisfactorily address a number of initial grant requirements.
Successful applicants should visit the ‘I am funded’ section of the Youth Music Network. A full guide to accepting the grant offer and completing your initial grant requirements can be found here.
Unsuccessful applicants will receive feedback from Youth Music’s assessment panel. Unless specified otherwise, unsuccessful applicants can re-apply for Youth Music funding, taking into account the feedback provided. Application deadlines are listed here.
